Child Malnutrition Leads to Myopia

In addition to poor eyesight, perhaps you still don't know that malnutrition is one of the causes of myopia in children. In addition, the technology is developed now, and parents and mothers should be reminded that children can easily enter the wrong zone with their eyes. Hence, it’s necessary to take more care in daily life.

Child malnutrition is easy to induce myopia

Experts pointed out that in fact, the emergence of myopia
in children is also related to malnutrition. Childhood is a critical stage in eye development, and calcium and chromium are indispensable, otherwise myopia will occur. Calcium is related to the formation of the eyeball. Insufficient intake can cause the sclera to be single-sexually reduced, the intra-crystal pressure rises, and the anterior-posterior diameter of the eyeball is elongated to cause myopia.

Chromium is a cofactor for an important hormone insulin in the body. If it is lacking, insulin activity decreases, and the ability to regulate glucose metabolism decreases. As a result, the sugar that is eaten cannot be normally metabolized and remains in the blood, forcing the diopter of the eye to change, eventually forming myopia. .

Experts suggest that parents and friends should give children enough calcium, phosphorus and vitamins A, B2, B1, C, eat less sweets; add protein, calcium, phosphorus, should eat more carrots, tomatoes, bean sprouts, oranges, grapes, Vegetables and fruits such as red dates are good for preventing myopia.

LYC1946X
Suitable for developing adolescent myopia patients, should be reviewed once every six months, regular replacement of lenses. The advantages are safe, effective, and economical, and can be replaced as the refractive changes. The disadvantage is that the patient's correction effect is not ideal for patients with high myopia, anisometropia (large gap between eyes), large astigmatism and mixed astigmatism. There is a small field of view (seeing things smaller than the actual ones, things outside the frame on both sides of the eye are still not clear), vulnerable to trauma, eye deformation and other problems, and will affect the correction effect due to the lens replacement is not timely.

⏩Drug treatment:

It’s suitable for pseudomyopia caused by ciliary muscle spasm. The advantage is that it can relieve the ciliary muscle fatigue of the eyeball and has certain curative effect on pseudomyopia. The disadvantage is that there is no definite effect on true myopia.

⏩Myopia surgery:

It’s suitable for myopic patients over the age of 18 who want to take off their glasses and have the ability to pay for the surgery. The advantage is that the glasses are removed once and for all, the correction effect is good, and the indications are wide. The disadvantage is that the cost of one-time surgery is expensive and there is a certain risk of surgery.
