Why we found Zinff?

It was the lowest moment of my life. One day, I found my son’s eyesight had deteriorated. His glasses were muddy and mismatched, but he kept this from me for he was afraid that I couldn’t afford one. I was moved to tears and gratified to have such a considerate son. I insisted on taking him to the optical shop. I still remember the embarrassment when I found out the cost of the glasses was so high. From then on, I was determined to make the glasses affordable to everyone.

For a long time, the eyewear industry has been widely criticized for its high prices. Some big companies keep prices artificially high to reap huge profits from consumers who have no other option. Opaque pricing and asymmetric information makes the consumer skeptical if the glasses are worth the money.

Therefore, we founded Zinff, a fashionable online optical shop which is devoted to providing high quality, cost-effective eyeglasses and services. We have a professional optician center, highly qualified opticians and thoughtful after-sales customer service. By engaging with customers directly, we can provide high quality, fashionable prescription eyewear with an affordable price. Here, you are no longer a blinded consumer; you can come to know every material and craft of the glasses; you can afford to buy as many well-designed glasses as you likeyou can enjoy a perfect purchasing experience.

Remember, Zinff’s products are always affordable but the quality is never cheap.

What do all those numbers on my eyeglass prescription mean?

An eyeglass prescription is written in a standardized format so it can be interpreted worldwide. Let's look at one and see what all the numbers mean:   Let's say the eyeglass prescription for your right eye is: -2.00 -1.00 x 180. The first number (-2.00) indicates the spherical lens power to correct nearsightedness or farsightedness. If the number is preceded by a minus sign (as it is here), this indicates a lens power to correct nearsightedness. If the number were preceded by a plus sign (+), then the lens power would be one to correct farsightedness. In all cases, the unit of power for numbers in an eyeglass prescription is called a diopter (D). So this eyeglass prescription is calling for the correction of 2.00 D of nearsightedness.
