How to choose frame colors for Your Hair Color

In previous article we have considered the factor of skin tone and eye color.  Besides, The color of your glasses should also be matched  to your hair color.

Hair colors also are considered warm or cool. Strawberry blond, platinum, blue-black, white, auburn, salt-and-pepper and ash brown are cool. Warm hair colors include golden blond, brownish black, brown-gold and "dirty gray." Once you have determined if your hair are "warm" or "cool," then you can choose frame colors that suit your hair color.Blog Cool Warm Tones.JPG

For warm coloring, the best eyeglass frame hues are: camel, khaki, gold, copper, peach, orange, coral, off-white, fire-engine red, warm blue and blond tortoise.

For cool coloring, the best eyeglass frame hues are black, silver, rose-brown, blue-gray, plum, magenta, pink, jade, blue and demi-amber (darker) tortoise.

There are a few suggestions for common hair colours

You can choose black, blue or pink frames if you have dark undertones, if your hair has lighter undertones, you can go for reds, creamy-whites, or warm greens. Also purple might be a good choice!

Blond hair

You can choose , green and different shades of red. If your hair is blond and has cooler undertones, you might look into black, blue or pink frames. You can also go for gold.

Red hair

black and warm neutrals (like cream) are the best choice for you. Also green is a great choice!

Black hair

you can go for black, blue and other saturated colors. Ashy tones might make you look washed out.

 Gray or white hair

you can choose something like bright red navy. Also burgundy or light blue would make a good choice. Avoid yellow or brown.
